Announcement from ‘thyme on main’

By now, many have heard....

...that our buildings at 100 State St. North + 102 State St. North in Waseca, Minnesota have been listed for sale.

During the past several days, we have received many phone calls and texts surrounding the news.

In an effort to dispel any rumors and keep communication clear about what's happening, we wanted to take a moment to respond to a few of the questions that have come to us.

First and foremost, our doors will not just suddenly close. This is not a rash decision which requires quick action and/or the desire to abruptly close anything.

Everything is operating (and will continue to operate) with the exact same excellence as it has since we opened our doors.

We have events booked through the summer, and if you have already booked an event with us (or still have one you're needing to book!), they are still happening!

The founders, Makayla Rae Selvik and Sarah Kay Hoffman have poured our hearts into creating something for the community that we are extremely proud of and that thousands of you have already been able to enjoy, with more experiences each week.

The process of selling isn't one that happens overnight, and may take an extended amount of time.

But even if it did (and even when it does), we are still fully committed to ensuring a seamless transition period.

You, as our valued customers, and honoring commitments, will always be foremost in our minds during the process.

Finally, the big "why?"

While we have created something positive for the community, time is not infinite, and the adventure has also come with personal sacrifices.

With young families at home, but kids growing quickly, we look forward to maximizing the time we have left with them before they’re grown.

We have spent the last 3+ years completely transforming 2 historical buildings in downtown Waseca, and believe them to be in prime condition for a new owner or owners to continue elevating for the community.
